This fun "learn to play" program uses fun games and drills to orient your child to the game of soccer. This is a very relaxed learning atmosphere focused on fun, socialization, and motor skills. Each participant will receive a t- shirt uniform at the first session and rosters and schedules will be emailed out the week of September 7th. PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING A SIZE 3 SOCCER BALL. KIDS CORNER SPORTS LEAGUES These programs focus on introducing children to a team & game environment, while reinforcing the fundamentals of each sport. At each session, children will be able to participate in skill building drills followed by a game. Through this process children will better understand the concepts of teamwork, sportsmanship, and game play, which will help to make every child’s experience on the field a fun one! A t-shirt uniform is included in each sports league. VOLUNTEER COACHING We would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to be a volunteer coach. Your commitment is only one hour per week for either sports league. Recreation relies on parent volunteer coaches to make these leagues successful.
