Join the Town of Amherst in-person for a short presentation and conversation about zoning options for the Hampshire Campus property. This listening session is an opportunity for community members to learn more and share their input on future Hampshire Campus Zoning. All are welcome! Register Here! This event is part 1 of a two-part series. The second session will be a Design Workshop held on Thursday, September 24. Participants are encouraged to attend both events if possible. Learn more and register for the second event. The Hampshire Campus Zoning Study seeks to gather property information and community input that will guide new zoning. The information gathered will provide an understanding of the areas that are developable, the capacity of infrastructure (i.e. water, sewer, roadways), housing market demands, opportunities for economic development, and community goals. It is important to note that Hampshire College owns the land and will be making its own decisions about the ultimate disposition of the property and the timeline for making those decisions.
